Teach mahjong.
We’ll bring
the students.
You already know how to teach. What you don’t have is a reliable way for students to find you. TileTable gives you a real page for your lessons, a growing community of players who want to learn, and payments that land straight in your account. No invoicing. No chasing anyone down.

Right now, teaching probably looks like this: a student from word of mouth. A group chat. A Venmo request. Someone who found you on Instagram and sent a DM. You’re good at what you do, and the students come — but they come one at a time, and every one of them is a hustle.
We built TileTable so that finding students isn’t luck. The players who want to learn are already looking. Your job is to teach them, not to hunt for them.
Everything you need to teach on your own terms.
A real home for your teaching. Your bio, your styles, your rates, your schedule — one page you can send to anyone, instead of a phone number and a maybe.
Players come to TileTable to find their game. Plenty of them want to learn, and plenty more want to get better. We put your page in front of the ones near you.
Your own Stripe account. Your prices. Your students. The money lands in your bank, not ours. You’re not an employee — you’re running your own thing, with us behind you.
American, Hong Kong, Riichi, Filipino, Wright-Patterson — 40+ styles, no house favorite. Teach what you love, the way you teach it. We don’t tell you how to run a lesson.
Nothing owed for your first 30 days — no commission, no fees, no minimum — counted from the day your first lesson series begins. After that, we may introduce a fee that’s reasonable and competitive. You’ll get 14 days’ notice before anything changes, and the terms stay fair.
You’re a teacher we stand behind, not a search result. Referrals, cross-promotion, and a room full of players and hosts who want you to do well — because your students become their tablemates.
Five steps to a full table.
Tell us who you are and what you teach. A person reads every application, and a person writes back.
Your bio, your styles, your rates. We’ll help you make it look good.
Five minutes. You keep the account, the pricing, and the payouts. Stripe keeps your money safe and your books clean — real receipts, tax-ready records, and protection if a payment’s ever disputed. It’s the difference between a real business and a group chat.
Publish the times you actually plan to teach. Players see your real openings and book in a couple of taps. No back-and-forth.
We send you students as the community grows. Everything after that is between you and them.
The whole arrangement, in four lines:
- 01No upfront cost. No commission. No subscription. No monthly minimum. Your first 30 days are completely free, counted from the day your first series begins.
- 02After 30 days, we may introduce a fee that’s reasonable and competitive. You’ll get 14 days’ notice before anything changes.
- 03Payments run through your own Stripe. You keep the account, the pricing, and the payouts — the money lands in your bank, not ours. You’ll pay the standard card fee (~3%) that goes to the processor, not to us, the same fee you’d pay taking a card anywhere. In return you get real receipts, tax-ready records, and dispute protection if a payment ever goes sideways — not a Venmo request and a prayer.
- 04Your money is yours. We don’t hold it — it goes straight from your student into your account.
Why it works this way. We start free because you shouldn’t have to pay to find out whether we can bring you students. Stripe keeps every lesson series on solid footing — protected, recorded, and clean at tax time — so teaching here always feels like running a real business, not chasing a group chat.
The room is filling up.
Our games are concentrated in and around New York, but we’re growing rapidly. As we find students near you, TileTable helps you turn them into a group that keeps playing after your last class ends.
